Measure a real bottle
Prepare a label brief using the actual bottle, not a generic bottle illustration. Record the usable label height and width, the curve of the glass and whether an existing label must remain visible. Photograph the front and back with a ruler alongside. A cylindrical bottle and a tapered bottle can need different label shapes. Include the quantity of each design rather than only the total number of bottles.
Keep label printing and gift packaging separate
Personalised wine labels and wine gift packaging are separate parts of the presentation. State who supplies the bottles, who applies the labels and whether a box or bag is also needed. If the gift will be chilled, describe that condition before selecting the label material. Review a physical application sample where possible, then approve the final artwork and placement. Wine is not included unless explicitly listed in the quotation.
Prepare the enquiry
For custom wine labels and wine gift packaging, send the selected product reference, quantity and delivery area together. Add photographs, dimensions or a configuration list where they explain the requirement. Separate essential features from preferences so alternatives can be assessed properly. Review the final quotation against that brief, including VAT treatment, included components, additional work and the proposed delivery arrangement.
